Tribute to my wife who died four days before last Christmas. Susan loved opera and especially this aria from Puccini’s Turandot, ‘Nessun Dorma.‘
At the end of the aria, when Pavarotti holds that last high note of “Vincero!” (I will win!), tears came to her eyes and her spirit appeared to soar.
And I reach out to it now, wherever it is.

A beautiful tribute to Susan, Bill. I am reminded of this blessing: “Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there I cannot sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints of snow. I am the sunlight on ripened green I am the gentle Autumn’s rain. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there I did not die.”
