Gloria is a 1980 crime thriller about a mobster’s ex-girlfriend who rescues a little boy when his mob-accountant father and mother are murdered for a little black book of ‘names and numbers.’ The father gave the book to his son before he was gunned down. Gloria and the boy go on the run in New York City to escape the gangsters who will stop at nothing to get the book. The film was written and directed by Gena Rowlands’ husband John Cassavetes.
