Tom Hanks health concerns

An extremely thin Tom Hanks takes a walk from his Upper East Side apartment in New York through the streets of Manhattan as health concerns swirl around his noticeable loss of weight.

Earlier this month during a Sydney tour publicizing the new Elvis movie, in which he plays Colonel Tom Parker, Tom’s right hand was shaking so badly he could barely hold the mike.

The 65-year-old award-winning actor has been battling diabetes for years.

Hanks has been nominated for an Academy Award six times and has won twice, consecutively, for his role as the gay lawyer with AIDS in Philadelphia (1993) and as the title character in Forrest Gump (1994).
