Marilyn Monroe, born June 1, 1926, died of a drug overdose at 36 late on the night of Saturday, August 4, 1962, in her house at 12305 Fifth Helena Drive in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles. Her body was discovered just before dawn on Sunday, August 5. Many, including her close friend Frank Sinatra, and ex-husband Joe DiMaggio believe Marilyn was murdered.
