BLACK ADAM

Super anti-hero

BLACK ADAM

He can destroy the world — or he can save it!

The twice delayed movie is now set to be released in theaters on October 21.

Black Adam is the ‘evil’ version of Shazam, aka superhero Captain Marvel, based on the DC Comics character who first appeared in  the 1940s.

Possessing magical powers bestowed upon him 5,000 years ago by Egyptian gods, Black Adam has been both hero and villain over a life spanning thousands of years. He started out as a hero of humanity, but became corrupted by his own power. As punishment he was exiled by Shazam.

Black Adam now returns to the present day and unleashes his own form of justice on the modern world.

The film was originally set to be released last December but was delayed due to the pandemic and a new release date set for July 29. Warner Bros however again delayed the release to October 21, with The Rock’s other DC superhero film, DC’s League of Super-Pets moving to July 29.
