DESPERATELY SEEKING SADHGURU
After a month in hiding, Will Smith flew from Los Angeles to India to seek guidance from his spiritual healer.
The actor’s plane landed at a private airport in Mumbai on Saturday and he was whisked away to consult with his spiritual leader Sadhguru, who Smith met in Los Angeles two years ago.
This is the first time the Men in Black star has been seen in public since slapping Oscars MC Chris Rock on live TV in front of millions of viewers around the world.
Chris Rock had made an insensitive joke about Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head, which is cause by a medical condition. Jada looked noticeably embarrassed by the remark, causing Smith to stride up to the stage and slap Rock good and hard across the face.
After sitting back down, Smith yelled at Rock: “Keep my wife’s name out of your fucking mouth.”
When Chris Rock responded with, “Wow, dude, it was a G.I. Jane joke,” Smith said it again.
Chris Rock composed himself and continued with the show, which included a Best Actor Oscar for Smith for his movie King Richard.
After ‘the slap seen around the world,’ several film projects that the 53-year-old actor was working on were cancelled or put on hold.
With his career in the balance, Will Smith is desperately seeking the wisdom of Sadhguru.
