Coward from California puts her self-image above needy children

For the first time in 40 years a presidential candidate is chickening out of this year’s fundraiser for children living in poverty, the Al Smith Dinner.

The candidate, of course, is Kamala Harris, who doesn’t have the guts to face being roasted by Donald Trump — when a good roasting is part of the tradition.

Trump attended the dinner in the 2016 election year and roasted Hillary Clinton, who HAD THE GUTS to take it — something Cowardy Kamala CANNOT do.

Another reason that would not go over well in the Archdiocese of New York — Harris and running mate Walz support unlimited abortion all the way through the ninth month of pregnancy. Walz even signed a bill ensuring that babies born despite an attempted abortion would have no protections.

The Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner is a white-tie affair held at New York’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel that raises milions of dollars for Catholic charities that help needy children in the Archdiocese.

The dinner is named after Al Smith who grew up in poverty to become a four-time governor of New York and the first Catholic Democrat candidate in the 1928 presidential election.

As a Harris spokesman candidly put it: “We’re not taking any chances at this stage of the game.”
