President Ronald Reagan was about to make his weekly radio address from his vacation home near Santa Barbara.
He was doing a sound check on the mike. As was his custom, he made a joke. It became the joke heard around the world.
Reagan was quite the jokester. As a former actor, his timing in telling the joke and his delivery of the punchline were perfect. This one is a gem.
