Trump in Waco bad idea

The Second Coming!?

Of all the cities and towns in America, Trump chose Waco Texas to kick off his 2024 re-election campaign, on the 30th anniversary and just 13 miles from the site of the religious cult massacre that killed 86 people, including 28 children.

The day before arriving in Waco, Trump warned on his social media site of potential ‘death & destruction’ if he is charged in the Stormy Daniels hush-money case.

Choosing Waco was a calculated decision to send a message to G-men — Don’t mess with Trump!

Tens of thousands of followers, many of whom lined up the day before waiting for their messiah to arrive, went wild when he told them “2024 is the final battle.”

Crafty or Crazy? Either way, a bad idea that will backfire nationally.

The siege of the Branch Davidians by the’U.S. federal government and Texas state law enforcement between February 28 and April 19, 1993, ended when the FBI launched a tear gas attack on the cult compound. The ranch became engulfed in flames and resulted in the deaths of 82 Branch Davidians, including their leader David Koresh, 26 children, two pregnant women, and four federal agents.

Not exactly a hallelujah moment!

  1. He should have picked a different day, maybe the next weekend. The Branch Davidian attack is still alive and kicking in Texas, and folks here aren’t on the side of the feds. It was a risk he didn’t need, and for cissake, he needs to shut up sometimes.

  2. He likes playing with fire, one of the reasons I liked him, esp taking on the swamp creatures in DC, but in the end when that senile old fool was elected the goddamn Deep State won. But now he’s ready to do battle again but, as you say, he needs to control his belligerent nature.
