REPUBLICANS

The Freedom Force vs. The Squad

Washington DC’s own Justice League

Like the DC Comics superheroes, several newly-elected Republican members of Congress have banned together to form the ‘Freedom Force’ to battle the left-wing ‘Squad’ of Democratic congresswomen.

Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis of New York.

“We are going to serve as a counterbalance to the values of the socialist squad,” said Republican Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis of New York.

“We don’t believe in dismantling the economy and we don’t believe in destroying free market principles. We don’t believe in the Green New Deal. We don’t believe in packing the courts.”

‘The Squad’ is the nickname for a group of four congresswomen first elected in 2018 and re-elected in November — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan.

FREEDOM FORCE MEMBERS

In addition to Malliotakis, at least eight incoming Republican members of Congress are in the Freedom Force — Michelle Steel of California, Stephanie Bice of Oklahoma, Victoria Spartz of Indiana, and Carlos Gimenez, Maria Elvira Salazar and Byron Donalds of Florida.

GOPS CONGRESS

The Freedom Force has vowed to protect small business-owners.

“Business ownership is the foundation of our freedom, it’s where our middle class comes from,” Byron Donalds said on Sunday.

“We have different cultures, backgrounds and colors, but what we have in common is a love for our country, and we’re going to make sure we stay free.”
