‘The Batman’ is expected to bring in more than $100-million at its U.S. opening this March 4 weekend, with pre-sales indicating even more.
This means the movie will already make more than half its $200-million cost.
Directed by Matt Reeves, who wrote the screenplay with Peter Craig, the film stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman and Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, with Paul Dano, Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard and Andy Serkis.

Reeves explores Batman’s detective side more than previous films, drawing inspiration from the Batman films of the 1970s and the original Batman comics.
The movie was shot in the U.K. and in Chicago between January 2020 and March 2021 on a budget of $200-million.
