‘There’s a battle outside and it’s raging’

The Un-united States of America

Racial hatred and violence tore America apart in the 1960s, and it’s doing it again in 2020, as history repeats itself and the Un-united States of America fights for its life.

The current surge of violence is led by thugs supposedly massing under the banner of Black Lives Matter in what the mainstream media laughably labels “peaceful protests.” There’s nothing peaceful about protests that kill innocent people, burn down the shops and businesses of law-abiding citizens and wipe out their livelihood.

If the protesters genuinely cared about black lives, or any lives, their protests would be peaceful, as advocated by Martin Luther King. Every time their protests cause death and destruction they are violating, not only the law, but the fervent teachings of their spiritual and motivational leader. They bloody the peaceful crusade for which, on April 4, 1968, he gave his life.

The Un-united States of America

America is in trouble. And don’t look to a weak old white man like the Democrat presidential candidate to save the country. He helped create the problem.

In 1994, then Senator Joe Biden worked closely with segregationists, most of them personal friends, to put a new crime bill into law that led to mass incarceration of Black people, many of them innocent. Biden referred to Blacks at the time as “predators,” adding, “Lock the S.O.B.s up.”

Now of course, at the doddering old age of 77, as he tries to prolong his white power career in Washington, he sings a different tune.

The Un-united States of America

To which columnist Michael Goodwin replies: Yes you do!

Meanwhile, the mainstream media blithely go on the air and talk about “peaceful protests” amid live-camera footage of raging fires and people running in fear of their lives as gunshots shatter any illusion of peacefulness. Do they think we’re stupid?

The Democrat candidate and his followers said nothing about all the mayhem and murder until it was shown to be hurting his poll numbers — and then, and only then, did he start speaking out against it. In his vernacular, Come on, man, cut the bullshit.

Come senators, congressmen, please heed the call,

Don’t stand in the doorway, don’t block up the hall.

For he that gets hurt will be he who has stalled,

There’s a battle outside and it’s raging.

It’ll soon shake your windows and rattle your walls,

For the times they are a-changing!

What the hell is happening to America?

America is imploding into lawlessnes.

The U.S. is imploding into a lawless black hole

Anarchists establish Republic of CHAZ in downtown Seattle

We are at the beginning of an anarchistic insurrection. The liberal revolt was sparked by the brutal murder of a black man by a white cop. One black murder-by-cop too many. The final straw.

It doesn’t matter to the protesters that George Floyd had a history of violent crime. In 2007, the 6-foot-6-inch black man pressed a pistol to a pregnant woman’s stomach and forced his way into her Houston home and robbed her. He was sentenced to five years in prison for assault and armed robbery.

That didn’t count when Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin pressed his knee into Floyd’s neck and squeezed the life out of him. America reacted, the world reacted. Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden said George Floyd’s death had a bigger impact than the 1968 assassination of Martin Luther King.

America imploding into lawlessnes.

People mourned and wept over Floyd at his funeral as though it WAS Martin Luther King being buried.

There was one major difference between Floyd and Martin Luther King. King was a pacifist who believed in, and practiced peaceful protests, whereas Floyd was a felon whose death set off violent protests worldwide that killed people, destroyed buildings, ransacked stores and set fire to police cars.

It has been absurdly disproportionate to put George Floyd on a Martin Luther King type pedestal.

Be that as it may, as the saying goes, the result has been the beginning of a left-wing driven revolution, that has turned part of downtown Seattle into a lawless haven for Black Lives Matter and Antifa (AntiFascist) extremists.

America is imploding into lawlessnes.
Heavily armed anarchists guard entrance to CHAZ

The domestic terrorists seized a police precinct, took over six city blocks, built border walls and now stand guard with automatic weapons to keep out police, “biased media” and anyone else advocating law and order.

They call their lawless republic-within-a-city the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone — CHAZ.

All this is okay with the Democrat mayor of Seattle, Jenny Durkan, and the Democrat governor of the state of Washington, Jay Inslee.

Durkan went as far as defending the Zone as “patriotic.”

The taking of the police precinct in Seattle is the beginning of the complete social breakdown of America. There is no telling how far it will go and when, if ever, it will end.

One ironic result of the mass protests in city streets across the country, and the world for that matter, is that “social distancing” has been blown all to hell. The more people protest en masse, the more Covid-19 cases take down the population.

It’s become a battle between two evils. Which will prevail — the protesters taking down America, or Covid-19 taking down the protesters?

No, America, you’re not ‘better than this!’

George Floyd riots ripping America apart from Brooklyn to Beverly Hills

As Americans kill, burn and rampage with hatred and revenge over the latest cold-blooded murder of a black man by a white cop, politicians get up on their self-righteous soapboxes and spout the same old platitudes, “We’re better than this,” and “This is not who we are.”

Well, I’ve got news for you, America. This is exactly who and what you are, from the Civil War to the lynchings that followed — more than 3,400 African Americans lynched between 1882 and 1968 — to the Watts riots in Los Angeles in 1965, and Martin Luther King’s assassination in Memphis in 1968, and the brutal beating of Rodney King in Los Angeles in 1992 —

— and the “I can’t breathe” death of Eric Garner in New York City in 2014, and now the “I can’t breathe” death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

Oh, by the way, the heinous crime that cost George Floyd his life! — trying to buy a pack of cigarettes with a phony $20 bill. Derek Chauvin, the cop who killed him, has been charged with murder and is in jail — on suicide watch.

The cop who started the nationwide chaos, Derek Chauvin, with his knee on George Floyd’s neck, crushing the life out of him.

So, no, America, you are not “better than this.” Just get over yourselves being the greatest country in the world and all that crap and admit that this is who you are — and then, for Christ’s sake, figure out a way to change who the hell you are.

Michael Jordan on George Floyd’s death: “We’ve had enough.”

“We’ve had enough.”

NBA legend Michael Jordan believes the best way for the country to move forward in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death is to put “pressure” on elected leaders to “change our laws,” or use their right to vote to create “systemic change.
