New York State’s most powerful non-elected official would ‘rip your heart out’
“A ruthless, heartless, evil human being who will rip your heart out in order to get what she wants.”
That’s how associates describe Melissa DeRosa, the top aide to Governor Sonny Corleone, aka Andrew Cuomo. Cuomo once compared himself to the hotheaded gangster in ‘The Godfather.’
The 38-year-old DeRosa has made even more enemies in the state capital of Albany than her vindictive boss, an insider told the New York Post.
“The worst person I have ever worked for in my entire professional career,” said the former Executive Chamber staffer.
DeRosa fought like hell to try and cover up Cuomo’s sexual harassment scandal.
CRIMINAL CHARGE IS THE LATEST
An assistant to the governor who had accused him of groping her when they took a selfie together in the Executive Mansion in Albany in November, has now filed a criminal complaint with the Albany County Sheriff’s Office, the Post reports.
The woman, identified only as ‘Executive Assistant #1,’ said Cuomo ‘pulled her in for a hug, reached under her blouse and fondled one of her breasts.’
Sheriff Craig Apple said the 63-year-old governor could be arrested if the allegations are substantiated.
Cuomo is also being investigated by the FBI and the Brooklyn US Attorney’s Office for allegedy cvering up the number of nursing home residents who died of Covid.
In a tape recording obtained by the Post, DeRosa privately admitted to Democratic lawmakers that the Cuomo administration withheld the total number.
ANDREW “SONNY” CORLEONE
During a strategy session with members of his staff, Cuomo compared himself to Godfather scion Sonny Corleone.*
The son of the late powerful Governor Mario Cuomo described how he intimidates people under investigation who come to his office.
“I loom over the table,” he said. “In their minds, I’m Sonny Corleone and I’m capable of anything.”
At that same meeting he also bragged about his sexual prowess.
And now the chickens have come home to roost.
*Cuomo looks more like — the spitting image, in fact — of his doppelgänger ‘Godfather’ gangster Al Lettieri, who played Virgil “The Turk” Sollozzo.
Either way, Andy Cuomo is is big trouble.
