‘Rest in peace, angel’ was the single comment on Zoe Parker’s GoFundMe funeral expense page which raised less than $500 before being taken down.
Zoe Parker starred in more than 100 adult movies before quitting the industry and moving back home to Texas to be near her family and start a new life.
“She started doing great and by all accounts seemed truly happy for the first time in her life,” said her fiancée Jay Campbell.
Zoe Parker’s new happiness didn’t last long. She died in her sleep around 2 a.m. Saturday at the age of 24. The cause of death has not been determined.
‘GENUINE, INTELLIGENT PEOPLE’
After moving to Los Angeles in 2016 to pursue her career, Zoe said she found the stereotype image of adult movie stars as drug and alcohol addicts not to be true.
She said the actors she knew were “some of the most genuine and intelligent, business-minded people” she had ever met.
They mourn her now, as do her fiancée and her family, but sadly, little else will be said about Zoe Parker’s short life and lonely death.
