Rare sighting of Jack Nicholson
The 85-year-old reclusive actor is seen on the balcony of his Mulholland Drive home in Beverly Hills in the first photos in 18 months.
Jack Nicholson is the most nominated male actor in Academy Awards history. He won the Best Actor award in 1976 for One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and in 1998 for As Good As It Gets.
The good times are over and friends fear he will end up dying alone.
Jack Nicholson was raised Roman Catholic, describing it as a smart religion.” In an interview in Vanity Fair in 1992, he said, “I don’t believe in God now, but I can still work up an envy for someone who has faith. I can see how that could be a deeply soothing experience.”
That noise when Jack looks up is a helicopter flying overhead.
BACK IN THE DAY
To paraphrase Pig-Pen, “On the contrary, I didn’t think he’d look that good. ” For 85, and I am hazarding a guess he just woke up, Jack is holding up. I bet he cleans up well.
The tough part, apparently, for friends and family is getting him TO clean up.
I expected worse considering the life of excess he lived. We all get old, and some of us age badly, and some don’t. He might be having mental issues is why he doesn’t socialize. I thought his turn in “As Good As It Gets” was his best role. Easy Rider..nahh.
There are reports he has dementia.
