Porn star Savannah took the hard way out

One of the most famous and beautiful adult movie stars of the early 1990s wanted to get out of the porn business.

Savannah, as she was known in the trade, knew it wouldn’t be easy. She tried several times but the drugs kept pulling her back.

On this day, July 11, in 1994, she took the hard way out. She shot herself in the head. Savannah was 23.

Porn superstar Savannah wanted out!

Born Shannon Wilsey in Laguna Beach, California, her adult modeling career began in photo spreads for Hustler, Penthouse, Swank and Cheri. In 1991 she signed an exclusive contract with the pornography film company Vivid Entertainment.

Savannah started dating rock star Gregg Allman when she was 16 and became a heavy drug user. She had relationships with comedian Pauly Shore, singer Billy Idol, Mötley Crüe lead singer Vince Neil, actor Mark Wahlberg, Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth, Mr Big bassist Billy Sheehan and Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash.

Savannah starred in over 100 videos and in 1992 was named Adult Video News’s Best New Starlet. She was ranked No. 19 of the adult film industry’s top 50 porn stars of all time.
THE NIGHT SHE PULLED THE TRIGGER
Shortly before her death, Savannah was driving home from a party with a friend, Jason Swing, when she crashed her Corvette into a fence and broke her nose. The couple made their way to Savannah’s house in Universal City, California where she asked Jason to walk her dog. Savannah then called her manager Nancy Pera and asked her to come over.
Before Nancy arrived at the house, Savannah went into the garage and shot herself.
She was still breathing when Nancy Pera got to the house. Savannah was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank and was put on life support. Pauly Shore was at her bedside.
Eleven hours later Savannah’s father made the decision to turn off the life support.
Friends, family and adult film associates attended her funeral.
Shore was the only ex-boyfriend there. “She was the nicest, most beautiful girl I ever met.”
Porn superstar Savannah wanted out!

She killed herself because “she forgot who Shannon was,” said Shore, referring to her real name, and became her drug-addicted film persona. “I knew she wanted out of the porn business.”

    Proverbs 7:25-27 KJV: 25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. 26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. 27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.”

    That’s the straight story. She has been burning in hell almost 3 decades.
