After a four-day travesty to elect a Speaker of the House of Representatives and a near brawl between two members, California Congressman Kevin McCarthy was finally sworn in late Saturday night as leader.  

Near the end, as tempers reached breaking point, Republican Mike Rogers of Alabama had to be held back from attacking Florida rebel Matt Gaetz over Gaetz’s refusal to back McCarthy.
