Vodka

Heavy Metal, heavy drinking — two gallons of vodka a day!

VODKA BINGEI realized, ‘Whoa dude, you’re drinking enough you could die.’ — Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee

FIRST THING IN THE MORNING

Tommy Lee, the heavy metal band’s drummer, was drinking two gallons of vodka every day last year.

“I was drinking just out of boredom,” he said. “I would wake up and drink a glass of vodka with just a little eyedropper of cranberry or lemonade.”

His new wife Brittany Furlan, who he married on Valentine’s Day 2019, was getting worried.

“Baby, I don’t think I’ve ever even seen anybody drink that much,” she told him. “You’re scaring me.”

TOMMY CHECKS INTO REHAB

The 58-year-old rocker said it was her concern that set him straight. He checked into rehab and said “That’s it, I’m done.”

Tommy Lee talked about his vodka bender in an interview ahead of the release of his new solo album ‘Andro’ that comes out October 16th. He has been working on the album for the past two years, writing new tracks that are a mix of heavy metal, electronic music and hip hop.
