Covid widow blasts maskless

Covid victim’s widow doesn’t mask her anger

SHAME ON THE MASK-LESS, SHE WRITES IN HIS OBIT

The widow of a Texas man who died of the coronavirus has lashed out at selfish and irresponsible people who refuse to wear masks or adhere to social distancing.

David Nagy “suffered greatly” before dying alone without his family at his bedside.

“Dave did everything he was supposed to do, but you did not,” Stacey Nagy wrote in his obituary. “Shame on you and may Karma find you all!”

Mrs Nagy blamed “the many ignorant, self-centered and selfish people who refuse to follow the advice of the medical professionals, believing their ‘right’ not to wear a mask is more important than killing innocent people.”

“It gets me so angry that people are aren’t taking this seriously,” she said of the pandemic that has claimed the lives of more than 154,000 Americans.

“Many of the people who are dying are older people,” she added. “A lot of younger people are dying too, but it’s almost like they’re saying, ‘Who cares about the older people?’”

Mrs Nagy said she wrote the obit because “I don’t want his death just to disappear.”

This is the kind of behavior Mrs Nagy is referring to —

Police shut down wild pool party at New Jersey mansion

Hundreds of mask-less young people were engaged in a wild party when cops were called to break up the bash.

Many of the party-goers had spilled onto the street, ignoring social distancing.

An ambulance was needed to tend to several who were passed out drunk.

Mask-free parties have been occurring in many locations regularly since May when the pandemic was at its height.

Party buses are hired to take people to the shindigs which are widely advertised on social media.

  1. Now since I am still recovering from this deadly beast and God knows I consider myself blessed to not have the “deadlier” kind. Although it is no walk in the park. I understand exactly what she is saying… irresponsible folks are the cause for the continued spread that will continue to claim many more lives needlessly.
This poor widow is in grief and she is pissed… the suffering of COVID patients are great…. and they are all alone without any love and comfort in the end.

  2. Thank you for your comment, Pene — you know whereof you speak. Like so many others in this medium I am so glad you’re recovering. You are a survivor!

  3. Ah, Daniel, your comment brought a laugh of joy for you and your dog — I feel the same way about my cat, about all pet animals actually — they are loyal and they are safe! People, not so much.

  4. I didn’t want to wear a mask either. Who does? But after a bit of consideration I decided us adults sometimes have to do things we don’t want to do. It’s just doing the right thing for everybody.

    Important post my Friend.
