Where were you, Jesus, and what did you do?
For three long days after being crucified and buried, and until his resurrection, Jesus Christ’s whereabouts remain unknown.
Even the greatest theologians have no answer to the mystery. All they can do is speculate. One, let’s say educated guess is that Jesus descended into hell and “conquered the devil.”
I’m about as far from being a theological scholar as a one-eyed wombat on weed, but I strongly doubt that theory.
For one reason, in fact for tens of thousands of reasons, I think we have plenty of horrific historical evidence that the devil is far from conquered or vanquished or dead.
He is, in view of said documentation very much alive and among us, every day, in every way, oftentimes cleverly disguised but sometimes not so much, as in the guise of politicians.
There are one hundred Bible versions about where Jesus might have been during those three days, but none of them provide a convincing, let alone conclusive answer.
A large stone had been rolled against the entrance of the tomb and Roman soldiers were posted outside in case Jesus’ disciples attempted to roll the stone away and remove the body. [Matthew 27:57-65]
The situation would appear to be impossible. Not even an Agatha Christie or a Raymond Chandler could solve this one.
But let’s get real here: Jesus could do anything — heal the sick, restore sight to the blind, turn water into wine, walk on water — and so on and so forth.
So naturally he could come and go through walls as he pleased, as in fact he did later that day [John 20:19]. Or perhaps an angel rolled away the stone. It doesn’t matter, the point is that it was duly said, “He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him” [Mark 16:6]
So the mystery is not how he got out of the tomb, but where he went. That is one huge hole in the story of Jesus.

I always find the following very interesting, Sir :

He has forsaken all of us, but it’s of no consequence since He doesn’t exist. If He did exist I’d punch him in the gut for the gut-punch He gave me in life, several in fact. (If, by some miracle He does exist I will be struck dead tonight. I am strangely calm…)
Oh Mich, He won’t strike you dead. Do you think His patience is that thin? Jesus God Almighty is a merciful and grace giving God. He loves you more than you will ever understand in this lifetime. But there is proof that He rose from the dead. He told His disciples that He would send the Holy Spirit once He ascended to Heaven. Well, my life has been changed. Changed by the power of that very Holy Spirit that He promised. A life changed by the power of the Holy Spirit is an unstoppable one. There is a parable that is not a parable At all concerning Lazarus and a beggar. Luke 16:19-31 “There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
“Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’
“Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’ Abraham said to him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’ And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ But he said to him, If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.’ ”
It takes the Holy Spirit to end well us for the Bible to have an impact in our lives. Ask Him for His abundant love and Jesus will give it to you. May the LORD bless you with His presence today. In the great Name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

I know I am right because the Bible is right. Grace and the peace of God be with you.
Because Jesus was prophesied to come and did come. His own people didn’t receive Him, but the door was opened to us, gentiles, non-Jewish people to have eternal
Life.
Isaiah wrote more about the coming Messiah than any other OT prophet. The Bible is not just the inspired Word of God, it is the Word of God.
Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
