Bob Saget death details barred

TV STAR MYSTERY

The circumstances surrounding TV star Bob Saget’s head injury death in an Orlando hotel room have been permanently sealed by a Florida judge.

Why would he do that?

The judge ruled in favor of a lawsuit filed by Saget’s family not to reveal any more details about the 65-year-old comedian’s death, including a ban on all photos and records connected with the incident.

The family’s demands and the judge’s order add to the mystery of the January 9th TV-world shocker.

INJURIES TOO SEVERE FOR A BATHROOM FALL

A doctor at the time said Saget’s head injuries were like a blow to the skull with a baseball bat or a fall from 20 to 30 feet.

But an autopsy found that the former star of the 1980-90s sitcom ‘Full House’ suffered multiple fractures to his skull when he fell backward onto the marble floor in the hotel bathroom, striking his head, and blacking out.

However, no traces of blood or hair were found on the floor, marble end tables and counters in the bathroom in room 962 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.

HAD DRIVEN BACK FROM STAND-UP GIG

Saget had returned to the hotel earlier that night in a rental car from a stand-up gig at the Ponte Vedra Beach resort outside Jacksonville, a two-hour drive away.

Video surveillance shows that he entered his hotel room at 2:17 a.m. on Sunday, January 9. He put a ‘Do not disturb’ sign on his door and then locked it from the inside.

After reportedly falling and hitting his head Saget apparently regained consciousness enough to get into bed and sleep. His death was estimated at around 4 a.m.

When Saget failed to check out of the hotel on Sunday, local police went to his room at 4 p.m. after hotel security found him “not breathing with no pulse.”

Saget’s family said in a statement that he “accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved.”
