Taron Egerton stars as the charismatic Jim Keene who is serving a 10-year prison sentence for a drug conviction.

Seven months into his sentence the FBI makes a deal with him to catch a serial killer of women.

Keene is transferred to the facility for the criminally insane where the killer, played by Paul Walter Hauser, is being held for murdering two women. Keene befriends him in an effort to get him to admit to killing twelve other women.
