A former Miss Ukraine beauty queen has joined the Ukrainian military to help fight back against Vlad the Invader.
Anastasia Lenna, 24, will now be strutting her stuff with an automatic rifle in defense of her homeland.
“Everyone who crosses the Ukrainian border with the intent to invade will be killed,” she wrote on Instagram.
Anastasia was Ukraine’s representative in the 2015 Miss Grand International beauty contest.
A marketing and management graduate from Slavistik University in Kyiv, she speaks five languages and has worked as a translator.
Recently, she was working in Istanbul as a model, actress and TV host.
“I am a happy person because I live in this beautiful world,” she said. “Life is great.”
And she’s determined to keep it that way.
Anastasia has vowed to fight alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whom she called a “a true and strong leader.”

Since the invasion began, Anastasia has shared numerous posts on Instagram urging support for the Ukrainian armed forces.
Courageous civilians, fighting shoulder to shoulder with Ukrainian troops, have managed to drive back many Russian soldiers and blunt Putin’s barbaric assault on their country.
