A tragic Fourth
Miami condo collapse.
A heavy sadness hangs over this year’s Independence Day. In Florida, Fourth of July celebrations are replaced by funeral plans and a search for more bodies.
As of today, there were 24 people confirmed dead and 124 still missing in the Miami condo collapse.
Search operations were suspended for today so that the remains of the stricken building can be demolished before tropical storm Elsa hits the Florida peninsula.
